What: Fun and educational activities to learn more about the birds of Pelican Harbor Seabird Station

Where: Pelican Harbor Marina on the 79th Street Causeway
Join the Pelican Harbor Seabird Station to celebrate the fall migration with a day of fun and educational activities for all ages. There will be guided tours of the facility every hour, on the hour. They are also offering “Birding Basics For Family Fun” workshops at 1:30 PM & 3:30 PM. There will be arts and crafts, games and raffles, and lunches for sale (includes vegetarian options).

ReplyDeleteHolly, I found out about it because it was a link on the Sawgrass Nature Center (in Coral Springs) website. I've never been,but I'm definitely interested in seeing it what it's all about. I'm an avid proponent of nature education for kids and people of all ages.
